Chef-led technology for food · South Shore · Boston · Nationwide
Put AI on the line, not in the way.
We set up and run practical AI for independent restaurants: a phone host that never misses a call, review replies in your voice, menu costs that stay current, and marketing that goes out on schedule. Built by a chef-led team that has worked the pass, not software salesmen.

What we do
One chef-led team. Three kinds of kitchens.
The same idea runs through everything we do: technology handles the prep work behind the scenes, so the real work of cooking, selling and growing food stays human.

The work that happens off the plate
Independent restaurants don't lose on the food. They lose on the calls nobody picks up, the reviews nobody answers, and the costs nobody had time to check. That's the work we hand to AI.
The phone rings mid-rush
Your host is seating a six-top. The caller wanted a table for Saturday, or a to-go order. They call the next place.
Reviews stack up
A two-star review sits unanswered for a week, and it's the first thing new customers read.
Food cost drifts
Suppliers change prices every week. Your menu was costed last spring. The margin quietly disappears.
Posting falls off
The specials board is great. Instagram hasn't heard about it since August.
Same questions, again
“How do we close the fryer?” “What's in the aioli?” Your sous chef answers it for the hundredth time.
The admin never ends
Schedules, inventory counts, catering inquiries. Owners spend their one night off at a laptop.

Who you're working with
A kitchen-first tech team
Wicked Tasty Tech is a South Shore team of culinary, design and technology people, backed by trusted specialist contractors. The company was founded by a formally trained chef with about 25 years in hospitality, including three-Michelin-star restaurants and many other highly notable culinary organizations, and we use AI every day to run real food operations.
We bring that same toolkit to independent restaurants, food brands and homeowners on the South Shore, in Boston and across the country. We know what a Friday double feels like, what food cost does to a P&L, and which tech actually survives a busy kitchen. You get setups that work at 7 PM on a Saturday, not just in a demo.

Questions owners ask
FAQ
Will the phone host sound like a robot?
No. Current AI voices sound natural and handle normal back-and-forth. We write the script around your restaurant, test it with real calls, and set clear rules for when it hands a call to a person.
Do I need to switch my POS or reservation system?
No. We start with the tools you already use and connect to them wherever possible. If something doesn't connect, we'll tell you during the consult, before you spend anything.
I'm not a tech person. How much do I have to do?
A 20-minute consult and about an hour of review during setup. After that, your main job is approving drafts from your phone. We handle the rest.
What does it cost?
$120 an hour, with a 2-hour minimum on any project. Most single tools take about 2–10 hours to set up. After your free 20-minute consult you get a written estimate before any work starts. If a tool needs a software subscription, that's billed by the provider at cost. No long-term contract.
What happens to my data?
Your menu, recipes and customer information stay yours. We use reputable platforms, give only the access each tool needs, and hand everything back if you leave.
Do you work outside the South Shore?
Yes. We're based on the South Shore and work in person across Boston and Massachusetts, and remotely with restaurants and food businesses all over the country.
